This morning on my way to the office, I was rushing because I saw the dark clouds and it was about to rain. When I was already on the jeep, I started with my morning prayers until my mind drifted to other things. I was recalling the past, it has been already three years since I left MMLDC and have to face another chapter of my life.
It was not easy for me, how I missed my friends at MMLDC. Some have already resigned have gone abroad. I remember my last day in MMLDC when I don't want to have despedida but still good friends prepared one great despedida for me. I shed so much tears on that day, tears of joy because of what I have heard from my officemates when they grilled me with I should say loving and kind words, and tears of sadness because I will leave them behind and facing another step of my life. My first few months in my new office was so lonely, even if I have already friends there. I got sick, but still I have to force myself to go to work because I don't have a reliever. I ate lunch alone and I can't even swallow the food I'm eating, I tried to hold back my tears and have to be strong. My boss always checked me if I'm okay. And now three years has already passed and a lot of things had already happened. It was a blessing in disguise because I'm closer to the place which I can't live without because it's the place I was born in San Juan.
It's like being back home where my friends are.

"Club Zero"
My friend Mean arrived from Riyadh for a more than one month vacation. She's my best friend for more than ten years already. We happened to be members of Singles for Christ. Our friendship started when I became their unit head (or leader) of the group. We have been through a lot of conferences, christian life programs, happy and sad memories. Some of my members are under my care when they were younger until now that they are mature adults. Some of my members are already married and others have remained single. Mean is the "uniting force" in our group, why do I say this it is because she's the only one who can gather us together. We don't see often, we communicate only when there is an occasion or when one has a problem, or sometimes when there's a nice movie to watch. Last Saturday we were together again. We went to Mall of Asia and attended mass there, except for Joevy who is living at the bay area. We had dinner at Joevy's pad at Crown Bay Tower.
Happy to see each other again exchanging jokes and update regarding "lovelife?" and other things. We enjoy taking lots of pictures, its good that cameras can take pictures using the timer no one wants to be a photographer. We had real fun being with each other but we have to go home early the next morning because of other commitments.
Perhaps God is the uniting force in our friendship or maybe it's our love for one another. I have been blessed to have friends like you. We've known each other for years. You have brought so much joy in my life. Because of your love and support life for me has been easier. You gave me strength when I needed it, encouragement when I was down and a shoulder to cry on when the going gets rough. You tried to protect and defend me when I was put to test. The time when I was silent you were my voice and with God's help I was able to surpass that crisis in my life .I don't know if I was a good leader to you or if I lead you to the right path. What is important to me now is our friendship. You are my real friends and sisters, we will always be there for each other no matter what. I will always treasure the bond that we have as long as I live.
