Confirmation

Yesterday I was on leave because I renewed my license which expired 2 months ago. The processing of my ID took only a few minutes, it's good that I don't belong to those professions who have long line. After I finished my transaction I seated in one corner of PRC which I found quiet and conducive to reading. I was reading a book about healing when I was interrupted by an Ilocana teacher asking where is the nearest SM and I gave her the direction. She has a companion who is also a teacher they came all the way from Ilocos to renew their license. I was lucky that I don't have to travel that long just to renew my license. My friend arrived and she has also to process some papers regarding her professional license. I have to leave her to go to my mom's clinic to consult a dentist. My wisdom tooth has been bugging me and there's no other way to preserve it,it is for extraction already. The dentist and his assitant (a nun) has convinced me after minutes of talking. The dentist was good because in less than a minute he got my tooth. After the bloody incident
my friend and I proceeded to the main event of the day which was her confirmation and I am the lucky godmother. We arrived at the church early spent the time bonding and chatting about our lives. The catechists gave us orientation on what we are going to do. I was struck by what he said that their main source income is from the confirmation that they schedule every Thursday and Saturday because only a few people come to their church.
I learned the importance of confirmation to accept the grace of God fully, how I wish I can have my confirmation again now that I can fully understand what my faith is all about because I had my confirmation when I was seven years old. I felt the grace of God also and I realize how important is the responsibility of the godparent. The day ended with lots of rains that made the street flooded which I can associate with God's blessings.
