This is one of the things that I love to do volunteer work. Helped in packing things for distribution to the victims of the calamity. I was a victim of the calamity but I still feel lucky because my family are still there. I was at home when the flood happened. There's nothing I can do to help them my only resort was to pray for them and I know that God will not leave them in that situation. There are a lot of lessons learned from the calamity.

The Meaning of Life
the search for meaning of life is like a lifetimes i guess. i read a book that says the meaning of life is about loving God. it is true i believe in it. without God i am nothing. without Him i will not be probably in this world. it is sad that we have taken Him for granted oftentimes because of our attitude and failures. i find meaning also in helping others, i feel a great high extending a helping hand, extending comfort a shoulder to lean on, a touch to assure a friend that everything will be okay, listening ears just being there to hear what one has to say. if only we open our hearts and mind to reality then we will be able to realize the meaning of life. oftentimes we associate it with feelings of being in love but in truth it isn't it is more deeper than that. life is full of mysteries yet to be uncovered, to know its essence and meaning, everyday is a miracle, like gift to be open full of surprises sometimes happy sometimes sad, but it is in acceptance that we find joy in each gift and the blessings that we benefit from it.
